WHO?

Who would be a good fit for Transitions Speech Therapy?

​

Adolescents and young adults who were dismissed from school based speech/language services, require extra support not provided by the school, or who graduated from high school and could benefit from support within their new environment (e.g., college level classes, workplace, etc.)

WHAT?

What do we work on during treatment sessions?

​

Based on self-report and informal assessments, we will work on the skills you need to access your environment, using materials that matter to you. All treatment is client- directed and led. See Sample Focus Areas below for examples!

WHEN? WHERE?

Where and when do you conduct sessions?

​

Treatment takes place in your natural environment. This could be your house, a local library, your campus, your workplace, or remotely via teletherapy- whatever is most convenient for you! Sessions are held on afternoons and early evenings; weekend availability as needed.

WHY?

Why would I benefit from services?

To fill in knowledge gaps, develop skills, and implement strategies to help you access your environment from a language or social communication standpoint.

 

HOW?

How do I pay for services?​

​

Transitions Speech Therapy is private pay only at this time. Payment is due at the time of treatment through a secure application.
